Corn, ethanol & truck driving!

I know very little about corn, ethanol and big rig trucks! Perhaps because I have a close friend that owns a trucking company (he delivers lumber and food) and because I deal with exports on a regular basis - did this string of texts strike my fancy.

It’s not complicated, but perishable items need to be delivered on time. And truck drivers hate to wait to unload their rig after they’ve arrived at their destination. What a nice touch from The Andersons to embrace text messaging for their receiving operations. Very cool if you ask me! Any truck driver can put his phone number in and get a text from The Andersons if the ethanol racks just happened to be closed. It’s just nice to know some things in real time. This is one of them.
